Title:Tyneham
Once a route to follow now an invisible track to nowhere. The stains on the acrylic appear as translucent bones joined together by themselves. Each a segment of a body, where a body has travelled and now they remain still, trapped within the clear film.
Visible only from certain angles in certain lights, the lines remain a road to a secret location leading to a deserted village. Deserted by orders, what remains are the outlines of the place, the skeleton of exteriors, of use to no one but the passing tourists and the cold hedgehogs.
Upon looking at the X-rays there can be no understanding or light shed on how to fix these broken bones of history. They have fixated themselves in this position, never to be moved. Fixed themselves broken.
